Changelog

Every release, and the Polymarket change behind it.

Polymarket keeps changing how its short crypto markets settle and how orders are signed. Each entry below says what moved on their side, what we shipped in response, and what, if anything, you need to touch in your config.

10 releases latest v1.7.1 since Jan 2026 current buyers get every build
  1. Pro plan

Pro plan and the Pro Dashboard

A second way to buy, for traders who'd rather have the bot installed and watched for them. Pro is the full source code plus a dashboard we set up on your own VPS next to the bot, so every bot you run is visible from your phone or straight inside Telegram. Nothing moves to our servers: your key stays put, and the dashboard's only power over the bot is a stop button.

Pro Dashboard health view: a pulsing heartbeat helix, order book latency, Polymarket API status, server load and USDC balance

    New

    • Pro Dashboard with live P&L, win rate and volume per bot, a filterable trade log with CSV export, and the windows each bot is in right now.
    • Health panel: heartbeat, order book stream and API latency, order acceptance rate, clock drift, CPU and RAM, wallet balance. The helix pulses on every heartbeat.
    • Telegram alerts for the case a bot can't report itself, a silent bot, plus the daily loss limit, the exposure cap, a daily summary and new releases.
    • Emergency stop from your phone: cancels open orders and halts the bot. Starting it again happens on your server.
    • Install of the bot and dashboard on your VPS over a screen share, a one-on-one onboarding call, and 60 days of priority support in a private chat.

    Updated

    • Two plans on the pricing page: Full Source Code at $499 and Pro at $999. Both are single payments with no subscription.
    • A public demo of the dashboard with simulated numbers at polymtradebot.com/demo. It opens inside Telegram as well.

  2. v1.7.1

    Chainlink TWAP settlement

Polymarket stopped settling its short crypto Up or Down markets on one price tick. Since August 7 the price to beat and the close are both Chainlink time-weighted averages, and since August 14 the 5-minute markets average the last 60 seconds like the 15-minute ones do. This release makes that official for both window lengths. Because the bot has always taken the result from Polymarket and priced off the live book, nothing in the strategy had to change and your existing config keeps working.

    # Up or Down settlement, 5m and 15m
    # Chainlink TWAP, 60-second lookback

    # price to beat = average of the 60 s before the open
    # closing price = average of the window's last 60 s
    # Up wins when close >= price to beat

    # Nothing to change in .env

    New

    • TWAP settlement support on the 5-minute and 15-minute crypto markets. The final second now weighs one sixtieth of the close instead of deciding it outright.

    Updated

    • Settlement reads the official outcome from Polymarket after each window closes instead of deriving it from a price feed, so the ledger, CSV export and Telegram reports match what the market actually paid.
    • Orders keep pricing off the live CLOB book, where the odds already price in the averaged close, so every strategy mode runs under TWAP with its current settings.
    • Up plus Down pairs don't care how the market settles: a pair bought under $1 still returns $1 whichever side the average lands on.

  3. v1.7.0

CLOB v2, WebSocket quoting and live safety rails

Polymarket retired the original order book API, so live orders now go through the v2 client. We used the occasion for the biggest execution upgrade so far: a WebSocket engine that re-quotes on every book update rather than once per cycle, paper fills that queue behind real liquidity, and hard live caps that check positions on the exchange instead of trusting local bookkeeping.

    # Live safety rails, USDC defaults
LIVE_MAX_DAILY_LOSS=25 # halt once realized loss passes this
LIVE_MAX_EXPOSURE=50 # freeze new buys at this exposure
LIVE_CANCEL_SEC=3 # seconds between cancel and replace

    # CLOB v2 signing wallet: 1 = email / Magic proxy, 2 = browser wallet
    POLYMARKET_SIG_TYPE=1

    # WebSocket engine, same .env: python ws_engine.py
    # live data, log orders, post nothing:
    WS_LIVE_SHADOW=true

    New

    • Live execution on Polymarket CLOB v2. The old endpoint now answers every order with an "invalid order version" error, so auth, posting and cancels moved to the v2 client. Paper mode is unaffected.
    • WebSocket engine (ws_engine.py): books arrive by push and each update re-evaluates quotes, with a 250 ms floor per market and a 500 ms ticker for quiet ones. Discovery, settlement and saves run in the background. WS_LIVE_SHADOW=true runs the full live path but only logs the orders.
    • Live kill switch and exposure cap: LIVE_MAX_DAILY_LOSS cancels everything open, stops posting, sends a Telegram alert and writes a halt file that survives restarts; LIVE_MAX_EXPOSURE freezes new buys once committed USDC reaches the cap.
    • CONTRA mode: builds the dipped side with a maker ladder while BTC spot stays close to the window open, takes profit into the bounce and locks Up+Down pairs under $0.93 combined. Tuned with CONTRA_* keys. Long losing streaks are part of the design.
    • Hourly Telegram digest (tg_report.py): realized P&L, markets won and lost, average win and loss per running bot. Read-only, so it never collides with the bot's own saves.
    • Benchmark scripts that pull any wallet's activity from the public data API and score your run on the reference trader's metrics: taker share, edge per share, heavy-side win rate.

    Updated

    • Live stake caps read positions and spend from the exchange every cycle and fail closed: if the fetch fails, nothing new is posted that cycle.
    • Paper fills follow the real L2 queue: takers eat displayed liquidity level by level at VWAP, resting orders wait behind size already at their price, and real prints fill them in price-time order. Partial fills show in the log.
    • Maker mode keeps a standing bid ladder that holds its queue position instead of chasing the best bid, with a side-ratio guard, re-price hysteresis, a price band and a queue-jump rule, all under MAKER_* keys.
    • POLYMARKET_SIG_TYPE picks the signing wallet type, and order sizes round up to the CLOB minimum of 5 shares.

    Fixed

    • A 15-second socket timeout now also wraps the CLOB client's own calls, which had none. One stalled TCP connection had frozen a run for 12 hours with the process still alive.
    • SIGHUP is ignored, so a dropped SSH session no longer kills a bot started in the foreground.
    • The WebSocket engine subscribes to the next window before it opens, so its first seconds are no longer lost to market discovery.

  4. v1.6.0

    Small-capital runs and clearer sizing

For people starting with a modest balance. One parameter now scales every position, the log shows what a cycle is about to risk before it commits, and a thin balance skips a window rather than guessing.

    New

    • TRADE_SCALE: run the identical logic at a fraction of the default budget. Around $200 is a workable start; raise the scale when you're ready.
    • A sizing line before each cycle: intended stake and remaining balance, printed before any order leaves.
    • Low-balance guard: an underfunded window is skipped with a one-line reason instead of a half-sized position.

    Updated

    • Budget keys are documented next to TRADE_SCALE so full-size and scaled runs are easy to relate.
    • The status endpoint reports the active scale factor alongside P&L and uptime.

    Fixed

    • Rounding on scaled sizes could exceed the balance actually in the wallet. It can't any more.

  5. v1.5.0

    Unattended VPS runs

Everything in this release is about leaving the bot on a server and forgetting it: connections come back on their own after a blip, the process recovers from transient failures, and memory stays flat across days.

    New

    • Reconnect with backoff: dropped API or WebSocket connections recover without a restart.
    • An example systemd unit so the bot comes back after a reboot or crash.
    • A heartbeat line each cycle, so one glance over SSH confirms the bot is alive.

    Updated

    • Flat memory profile on multi-day sessions.
    • The status endpoint adds uptime and the last cycle's timestamp.

    Fixed

    • A rare hang where a stalled HTTP call froze the loop instead of timing out and retrying.
    • Clean shutdown on SIGTERM, so a restart never leaves a half-written portfolio file.

  6. v1.4.0

    Faster starts, steadier bursts

Startup and busy-API behaviour: fewer round trips before the first cycle and smoother handling when many orders go out in a short span. Budgets and mode switches behave exactly as before.

    New

    • Market metadata is prefetched at startup, so the first live cycle talks to the API far less.
    • A leaner submission path when order volume spikes inside one loop.

    Updated

    • The same execution path runs with or without keys, so paper and live timings stay comparable.

    Fixed

    • More tolerance for transient API errors during bursts.

  7. v1.3.0

Settlement pass, CSV export and the P&L ledger

Once windows resolve, the bot pulls the official outcomes into a local ledger, appends a running P&L log and exports spreadsheet-ready rows, without leaking strategy detail into the CSV headers.

    # Simulation needs no signing keys (default)
    POLYMARKET_DRY_RUN=true

    # Live mode, only when you're ready
    # POLYMARKET_PRIVATE_KEY=
    # POLYMARKET_FUNDER=

    New

    • One-shot settlement pass: refresh resolved markets and advance the cumulative P&L log.
    • Report command: CSV export plus a plain-text summary.
    • Manual settlement override for odd edge cases, by window label and winning side.
    • A rebuild helper for the P&L summary if you edit the log by hand.

    Updated

    • The portfolio trace stays a plain JSON file you can back up or diff in git.

    Fixed

    • Sell size is clamped to the logged position, so you can't unwind more than you hold.

  8. v1.2.0

More short windows, and rails for the operator

More short-term crypto Up or Down markets in the rotation, separate defaults for 5- and 15-minute windows, and settings that stop quoting as a window winds down.

    New

    • Several assets on the short crypto windows in one rotation.
    • Budget keys that respect the difference between 5- and 15-minute windows.
    • A grace period after the open and a wind-down before expiry for open quotes.
    • Optional Telegram message at an interval with total realized P&L. Set the bot token and chat ID in .env.
    • Optional local status server: --port serves a small JSON payload with cycle, trade count, settled count and cumulative P&L for uptime monitors.

    Updated

    • The bot stays in simulation until you add keys and switch the dry-run flag off in config.
    #risk#multi-asset#telegram
  9. v1.1.0

    Readable logs, quiet idle cycles

Terminal housekeeping: cycles are easier to scan, idle loops stop repeating themselves, and a failed API call states the problem once instead of dumping a traceback. Order logic and sizing are untouched.

    New

    • A per-cycle header with timestamp and active market count.
    • Skipped-market reasons grouped on one line instead of repeated every second.

    Updated

    • Venue timeouts surface as one short, actionable message; the next loop retries.

    Fixed

    • A rare encoding glitch on Windows consoles when a log line held non-ASCII characters.
    #logging#operator#cli
  10. v1.0.0

    First release: safe by default

The first build you could run end to end on your own machine. Signing keys stay optional until you add them, hosts come from config, and the loop targets the short crypto windows from day one.

    New

    • .env.example ships next to the loader, so required and optional keys are obvious.
    • --once runs a single cycle, handy as a smoke test right after install.
    • requirements.txt pins the CLOB client stack, so pip install behaves the same on macOS, Linux and WSL.

    Updated

    • Config and the main loop read one shared asset list. No duplicated hard-coded tickers.

Releases

How updates reach you.

What owners ask about versions, compatibility and where new builds are posted.

How do I get a new version after I've bought the bot?
Every build is posted in the private Telegram group for owners, together with the release notes and a note on any config keys that changed. Enter the access code from your purchase on the access page to join.
Will an update break my setup?
Patch releases never change config keys. A minor release may add or rename one, and the entry on this page says exactly what to edit in your .env. Your portfolio file and P&L log carry over.
Does paper mode run the same code as live?
Yes. The strategy, quoting and settlement code paths are identical. Paper mode records fills locally against the live order book; live mode posts the orders. Logs line up so you can compare a paper run with a live one.
Can I ask for a feature?
Yes, in the owners' Telegram group. Requests that make the short crypto windows more profitable or the bot easier to watch go to the top of the list.

Every release above is included in the price.

One payment for the full Python source, paper mode and every future build. No upgrade fees, no subscription.
